The Department of Commerce has evolved as one of the flagship departments of this college. The department has been instrumental in providing the young learners with a profound understanding of theoretical and practical aspects of the Commerce as a discipline and a real life phenomenon. The department unfolds viable educational environment that tend to fester both research and analysis skills of the students. Seminars, debates, dialogues, and workshops have been conducted by the department to develop cadres of quality human resource in the domain of commerce, industry and business at local, national and international levels.

The department aims to train students in different domains of Commerce, Finance and Accounting with a view to capacitate them to meet the emerging challenges of trade, industry and business in the country and abroad as well. It would also equip them with major understanding of both national and international knowledge of commerce related studies. The Department is committed to prepare the students for working on executive and managerial positions with confidence to apply theoretical and practical knowledge for the development of commercial ventures.
